HRT has been involved in Motocross racing for the past three decades and is known as the elite presents when it comes to the AMA Supercross/ Motocross series. With the support of John Mitchell at J&M Racing, and access to his generally unobtainable parts, and suspension, Hansen Racing Team has proven capable of competing on an even playing field with even the largest of factory teams. The national and talented riders for 2012 were selected by their past and present performance to finish in the top six in the country.
Matt Lemoine ended the 2011 Supercross series sixth in the world as the team challenged the FIM series. Matt has had a Challenging 2012 Supercross year with many uncontrollable events. Today we are 8th in the points standing and look forward to Las Vegas Finals
John Pauk Jr. caught our eye in the late 2010 and 2011 season. When consistently earning top ten finishes in Loretta Lynn’s
Amateur National Championship in past five years, with most recent 5th place finish. John Pauk Jr. lives at the HRT Training camp for the past Five
months and has shown us exactly what we have seen in him. John Pauk Jr. is a breath of fresh air to the team with his youth, endurance and calculative speed we will be proud to see him challenging each moto every weekend in 2012 under our tent.
HRT history has benefited from the talent of riders such as Steven Clarke from Sturbridge, UK. Steven Clarke is the only MX rider in history to have won a British, a World, and a US Championship. Matt Goerke of Lake Helen, Florida was the national winner of Southwick Motocross in 2009 in the Outdoor series. Hansen Racing Team is a mounted AMA East Coast Lites racing team. We challenge ever event with the promise to exceed the past performance.
